Mag is going to be a huge first person shooter featuring 256 players on screen at the same time. The developers have assured that there will be no lag. This point has been proven through the public Beta that has been released. So far no lag has been reported by any Beta player.
The game is set 20 years in the future and you can choose to be one of three factions, Raven, Valor or SVER. There seems to be no single player campaign and all the action is going to be in huge 256 player battles. Your team is either in charge of defending an objective or attacking it.
Players can rank up through experience points which lets them progress through the ranks and gives them more command control. If you gain enough experience to be a squad leader then you tell the squad what to do and they have to execute your orders.

MAG is set to be released today 1/29/2010. It seems that Zipper have done an incredible job in making a 256 player FPS game with little or no lag. We will be giving an indepth FPS addicts review of this game as soon as we make up our mind if it can stand up to Modern Warfare2 which is the best FPS game out right now.
